Wednesday 21- did my stretches. I’m trying something new with my morning stretch. I close my eyes, stand on my tip toes, and stretch my arms over my head to see how long I can balance myself; about 20 seconds is all I’m able to do right now. Then I hold my arms out to my sides and close my eyes again and try to balance one leg while lifting the other; less than 20 seconds. I figure if I do this every day I will improve my balance, I hope!
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 50 and 79 degrees, NNW winds at 6 to 18 MPH, humidity around 25 percent, high cirrus clouds.
According to the National Weather Service: “Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 84. North northwest wind between 5 and 9 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. North northwest wind between 3 and 9 mph.”
I went back outside at 3am last night to see more of the Orionid Meteor Shower. I saw a few but not as many than earlier when I was out there around midnight but still worth it.
I spent the better part of the day moving tile into the house and making room for it. The boxes of tile must weigh fifty pound and I have twenty boxes. I put most of them in the house and the remainder in the battery room. Lots of heavy lifting! I spent about an hour clearing out the shop so I can walk through it without stumbling over stuff I had lying around. Everything is coming together slowly but surely.
I was trying to call Stoney all day but his line was busy so I figured that he had left his computer online (we both have dialup) and moseyed over to his house to tell him. Sure enough he had left it on but the good thing is the computer updated twelve security updates! I gave him a small alarm clock that has a unique way of unfolding when it opens; he really liked it. I received the clock for free when I ordered some item or other online.
I went for my evening walk taking a few pictures of the sunset. I watched the nightly news to see what else our friends in government has messed up for us and then “My Name is Earl” which I found to be very funny. I spent the rest of the evening doing webwork.
I did my stretches; practiced my guitar; wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.
