Friday 23- I did my stretches, ran two miles, and lifted weights.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 81 to 105 degrees, slight breeze, humidity around 27 percent, mostly clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Saturday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 105. North wind between 3 and 6 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 78. West wind between 9 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.”
I updated the Copper Mountain Mesa Website and sent out the Newsletter.
I did some webwork and replied to a few emails.
I took a nap; I must be getting old! Nah, it’s the heat!!!
I checked out the two old solar panels that Seimi and I picked up yesterday. The glass on both is shattered like a car’s windshield does when hit by a rock. I put a volt meter to them and didn’t think I’d get much, but they both went to 17Volts! I was quite surprised. I’ll have to think about how to reinforce them so they don’t sag in the middle. If all works out alright I’ll connect them up to my system.
I was going to go on my evening walk when Ron Dehart called. He had just come back from Texas and wanted to yap; we did for over an hour.
Mat came by to borrow one of my Dell Mini 9s and we sat for a spell outside. It was a beautiful night with clouds obscuring the bright Moon here and there. We talked about astronomy; I told him my thoughts of space/time being one and the same as gravity. He brought up the question of gravitons and I said that if I’m right there aren’t any such things as gravitons. I also said that I could be completely totally wrong on the whole idea! He laughed. I like our little conversations; there aren’t that many I can talk to about such stuff.
I read more of “The Malacca Conspiracy” by Don Brown until late again.
I did my stretches, practiced my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.

Saturday 24- I did my stretches.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 81 to 109 degrees, slight breeze, humidity around 29 percent, mostly clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 106. Northwest wind at 9 mph becoming south southeast. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 79. Southwest wind between 7 and 14 mph.”
I wasn’t feeling quite well today but I did have a good night’s sleep; almost 8 hours! Normally I get around five to six hours of sleep. It was hot and muggy outside and decided to just kick back inside.
I called family and friends throughout the day to yak at them; I wonder if they are tired of me yet?
I did some online searches for electric bikes seeing if there was any that fit my requirements of going over 50 miles on a charge at a reasonable cost; so far the search continues.
I spent the rest of the evening reading “The Malacca Conspiracy” by Don Brown and finished the book around 10pm. It was an excellent read with a teary but happy ending.
