Thursday 06
May. 7th, 2010 12:29 amThursday 06- I did my stretches and ran a mile.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 58 and 80 degrees, winds out of the NW at 6 to 15 MPH, humidity around 16 percent, mostly clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Friday: Sunny, with a high near 86. North northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. South southwest wind 5 to 11 mph becoming west northwest.”
I did housecleaning all dang day long! I swept and mopped all the floors. I put stuff away. That’s it! That’s all I did all dang day! I will do some more cleaning tomorrow, but right now I’m tired!!!
I went for my evening walk and listened to the last lecture in the series of Astro 10: General Astronomy: Einstein's Biggest Blunder? Professor Alex Filippenko is a very excellent lecturer and has a way of making difficult concepts understandable.
I read aloud from the textbooks: “Astronomy Today" the Physical Properties of Uranus and Neptune; “The Cell: a Molecular Approach” Regulation of Transcription in Eukaryotes.
I read and finished “Next” by Michael Crichton. What a fantastic book!!!
I did my stretches, practiced my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.
