Thursday 27
Oct. 28th, 2009 12:25 amTuesday 27- I did my stretches.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 43 and 70 degrees, winds from the W-NW at 9-30 with gusts up to 55 MPH, humidity around 25 percent, the skies looked foggy to me.
According to the National Weather Service:“Wednesday...Mostly sunny and windy. Highs in the upper 50s. Northwest wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday Night...Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph in the evening.”
To dang windy and cold to go for my evening walk so I just laid more tiles. I watched the Nightly New and still there wasn’t any good news, so I watched “My Name is Earl” to balance it out. “NCIS” was a rerun but I watched it anyways; just too dang tired to do anything else. Then Jay Leno came on and he always cheers me up. I wrote my column for the newspaper and sent it in.
I had a strange dream last night that I was heading to fight a fire with hundreds of other folks to some mountain community. We had to walk for several days to get there. I remember being very thirsty climbing a steep mountain being helped and helping other folks make it to the top. We finally came to a small mountain town surrounded by tall pine trees. The friends I made on the trip waited for me outside a small café while I got a drink of water but I was only allowed one glass of water by the café’s chubby waitress with black hair. I went back outside to chat with my new found friends who came from all parts of the country to fight this fire and they were stunned that the residents of this small town who we walked for many miles to save from the fire were very hostile to us. Then I woke up. I only mention this dream because it was very vivid.
I did my stretches; practiced my guitar; wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.
