September 07-13 2014
Sep. 15th, 2014 10:16 pmI did my stretches and took Cassie for a walk.
Mostly stayed inside because of the storms and the high humidity.
I got on FaceBook to say hi to my friends before they forget me. They all know I am hard at work on the poem book.
I called Family and Friends throughout the day.
Cassie and me went for an evening walk.
Monday 08- 90 degrees with a huge downpour in our area.
I got up really early for me and did my stretches. I need to be ready to go to the doctors office in Twentynine by 9:30am.
I had to keep Cassie in the kennel while I was gone. I tried to hurry and had to make a few stops on the way at Star Pharmacy and WalMart. There wasn’t and rain that I could see from Twentynine all the way to Yucca Valley, but when I got on Winters road it was flooded in places and there was a couple of places that were washed out making it hard to get home. I finally made it and Cassie was mighty glad to see me. I took her for a walk to check out what damage the storm cell had caused to our little part of the desert.
Tuesday 09- 93 degrees a nice day.
I did my stretches, lifted weights, yoga, took Cassie for a mile run, core trainer, and punched the heavybag for two minutes. I went for a 30 minute swim.
Bonnie and Larry got married and I took them out to dinner at the Sizzler.
I killed a very large scorpion at Kelly’s. She called me up around 11pm to come quickly. I tried to catch it alive with a trashcan, but it escaped and was headed for her bedroom where she had put the cats and dogs to be safe. Without remorse I stomped on it. It was a big one alright and I took its remains outside away from the house. I don’t like killing anything, but sometimes ya just have ta do what ya have ta do.
Wednesday 10- 95 degrees.
I did my stretches, lifted weights, yoga, took Cassie for a mile run, core trainer, and punched the heavybag for two minutes.
I worked on my poem book.
I took Cassie for her evening and night walks.
Thursday 11- 99 degrees.
I did my stretches and me a Cassie went for a walk.
My stomach was upset all day so I mostly stayed inside working on the poem book some more.
I took Cassie for her evening and night walks; very short walks they were.
Friday 12- 101 degrees.
I did my stretches, lifted weights, yoga, took Cassie for a mile run, core trainer, and punched the heavybag for two minutes.
I worked on the poem book.
I went for a 30 minute swim.
I walked with Cassie to visit Jimmy and Clarice and jawed with them for a spell. Jimmy looked pretty worn out and very dirty from four hours of buffing the glue off the floor of his vacation home; his wife decided to hose him down outside and I decided to leave. I could’ve took pictures, but nah...
Saturday 13- 101
I did my stretches, lifted weights, yoga, took Cassie for a mile run, core trainer, and punched the heavybag for two minutes.
I updated the Copper Mountain Mesa Website and sent out the Newsletter.
I worked on the poem book; I really didn’t realize how much work was to be done.
Kelly and I went to town to get some supplies around 4pm. We went to Pet Plus, Vons, and spent forever at WalMart before going to Sonic Burger to get something to eat; I was sooo hungry. The dang hamburgers were cold as if they just took them out of the refrigerator and we sent them back. I really don’t think I’ll eat hamburgers there again.
After dropping Kelly off and helping carry in her groceries, I finally made it home around 11pm and promptly took Cassie for a night walk after spending hours in the kennel alone.
***** Stuff I Wrote this Week******
Beware of toxic people my doe-eyed friends, their headlights will seek you out, striking unawares to splatter, shatter and rip you all apart, leaving whatever remains of any personality or biological essence in their caustic wake.

A love that has lost its youth, grown old but still at ease, with blessid bliss spring these eternal words, from lips so sweet as thee; I love you.

I am too busy with my life cheering on my friends to greater heights, going on adventures of my own, and creating something from my own mind than watching professional sports every weekend. But that’s just me; there’s hordes of millions who believe differently.

Swift and agile on wings of angels we cling, we glide, we soar and climb up high between sunsets to arise one misty morn, to see blue skies awaken a sleepy world with its warmth of sweet divine, to shine upon the flow of life and bring the growth of lily pads and hummingbirds and other essences of life. Flowers flood the countryside filling us with hues of joy and scents of lusty mirth, or are these but daydreams of a dreamer caught in a realm that dreams gave birth.
