Monday 01- 109 degrees.

I worked on my poem book most of the day.
I took Cassie for our evening and night walks.
Tuesday 02- 110 degrees.
I did my stretches, lifted weights, yoga, took Cassie for ran a mile run, core trainer, punched the heavybag for about two minutes and swam for about 20 minutes or so.
I did my stretches, lifted 10lb dumbbells and went for my evening walk with Cassie and listened to lecture 10; The Solar System 1, from Astro 10P Fall 2006 UC Berkeley.
I did my studies; a lesson in “1100 words you need to know workbook”, and I drew something: A strange face. I thinking I need a book on how to draw. I did take a couple of college art classes back in the 80s but have forgotten it all.
Read from my old history book “A Short History of Western Civilization” chapter two: The Diffusion of Near Eastern Civilization 1750-800 BC- section 2: The Egyptian and Hittite Empires 1600-1200 BC.
I practiced my guitar.
Wednesday 03- 103 degrees.
I did my stretches and took Cassie for a walk. This is kinda my day off and just kicked back all day long and rest to do what I want.
I did my stretches, lifted 10lb dumbbells and went for my evening walk with Cassie and listened to lecture 11; The Solar System 2, from Astro 10P Fall 2006 UC Berkeley.
My longtime online friend and prolific writer does these birthday stories for her friends. This year I asked for her to write a story of her having a conversation with Ben Franklin. So here it is a link to my birthday gift called “Beer With Ben”: http://ami-ven.livejournal.com/485015.html
Thursday 04- 102 degrees.
I got up at 4am in the morning with real bad stomach pains.
About all I did today was work on my Sony VAIO laptop. It has a very nice keyboard that I use to write most of my stories on. It has been acting up and I believe it is one or more of the Win8.1 updates that ruined it. It took longer than I thought to fix the laptop because I needed to update the drivers before I did a Windows update and the dang thing sat there for hours saying “Disk Recovery Do not turn off.” Well after hours of this I “Turned it off” and restarted the laptop and reinstalled Win8.0 and updated the Sony drivers before doing the Windows Update. It was late when that all finished and I will continue tomorrow. All I really wanted to do was work on the poem book.
Friday 05- 105 degrees.
I am still weak from being sick yesterday so I only did my stretches and took Cassie for a walk.
I updated the Copper Mountain Mesa Website and sent out the Newsletter (this is all done on an old IBM laptop running good old XP).
Back to the Sony laptop. I had to do another update of the Sony Drivers before downloading Win8.1. Once this was all done and had Win8.1 loaded I had to update the Sony’s dang drivers again. But now everything is running fine and I installed Microsoft Office 2007 and all my other programs I like. I pity the poor person who doesn’t know much about computers and have to try to figure this all out or take it some computer store to have it fixed. I think very lowly of Sony having bungle the software and drivers rushing to release a product such as this.
I went for a 30 minute slow and easy swim.
I worked on the poem book.
I took Cassie for an evening walk.
I practiced my guitar.
Saturday 06- around 100 degrees with high clouds.
Sherry came by and left me breakfast I asked her to buy for me at the community center. All she was able to get was a (one) biscuit with a tiny itty bitty bit of gravy on it for $2. I talked to her later and she was shocked that it was so little, but hey it’s to help the center, right.
I’m still weak but did my stretches, lifted weights, core trainer, took Cassie for a short walk, and punched the heavybag for about two minutes.
I spent some serious time working on the poem book and am starting to see it all coming together now.
Later I went for a 20 minute swim.
I took Cassie for an evening walk.
***** Stuff I Wrote this Week******
The greatest power we hold over ourselves is to change.

Dreams they be of silken clouds or wooded hollows where nymphs such as thee may be found. Sad be I in darkest realms of mind for thy heart was giveth to another earthly soul not mine. So far apart, least I say from far away, love had come in hopes to stay. I rest my brow in fists of rage and tears, linger no more shall I in ignorant bliss for thy sorrows of madness I resist.
