Wednesday 13- I did my stretches and yoga, ran a mile, and lifted dumbbells.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 67 to 91 degrees, light breeze, humidity around 17 percent, clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Southeast wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
I wrote my column for the Hi-Desert Star newspaper and sent it in. I wrote this long rambling Thought of the week and I wonder if they’ll print it: Be unique! We were all born and started out that way! If, for whatever reasons you lost your uniqueness: be it parents, school, dealing with peer pressure, television, or work, get it back! Conformity is a trap! It will suck you dry of any creative energies and leave you barren on the shores of anonymity to be washed away and merge with the vast oceans of the unexceptional.
I did my studies: Latin and pre-algebra.
I read aloud from the textbook “Astronomy Today” about the spectra of stars.
I went for my evening walk.
I read a few chapters of “The Light of Other Days” by Arthur C. Clarke.
I called my friend Mike from Hermosa and told him of my ride to Arizona.
I did my stretches and went for a night run, practiced my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night
