Sunday 29- I did my stretches and lifted weights; hip still hurts a bit but not as much as the last two days.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 67 to 84 degrees, NW/W winds at 4 to 19 MPH, humidity around 24 percent, clear skies. Another fine day!
According to the National Weather Service: “Monday: Sunny, with a high near 87. West wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm. Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 63. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west northwest.”
Doug called asking me if I knew anyone who has a car dolly that he could borrow today to tow some of his cars out to his friend’s property. I told him I didn’t know anybody off hand, but I’d check around. I drove over here and there to a few friends I know and found two car dollies; one had a flat and the other needed to be welded on one of the struts. I called Doug back and told him. He said he’d get back to me and I haven’t heard from him since.
I kind of messed around with my computers for the rest of the day. The AlphaSmart Dana’s rechargeable battery wasn’t holding a charge. I went online and found a way to bypass and remove that battery, cut and solder a few wires, and use regular AA rechargeable batteries in it. I had the dang thing all apart, its guts hanging everywhere, and had it all back together and working in about half an hour.
I watched “Jurassic Park” (1993). I haven’t seen it since it first came out and it still surprised me and kept me entertained. Dang the little girl who played in it, actress Ariana Richards, is now thirty! I’m getting old! Such a fantastic film!
I did my stretches, practiced my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.
