Monday 14
Monday 14- I did my stretches, yoga, core trainer, and punched the bag a bunch more.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 51 to 78 degrees, NW winds at 8 to 18 with gusts to 26 MPH, humidity around 24 percent, mostly cloudy skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Northwest wind between 9 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. West northwest wind between 15 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.”
I went on over to Ron’s house to see him one last time. I wasn’t going to do this but for some reason I felt I had to. There were some of his friends there who have been keeping watch since he passed on yesterday. He laid there with a smile and some said that it looked like he was winking. I stayed a few moments and then went into the next room and about cried until friends said it was okay and gave me a hug; it was hard. I spent a spell reminiscing with others and then I left.
I went down to my mailbox and dang if it wasn’t full of packages for Kelly. Well she said to me she had a couple coming; there’s also a notice for one more at the post office. I dropped them all off at her house and she gave me a big hug.
I spent the rest of the evening thinking of Ron; it’s hard to lose someone special in your life.
Linda called around 11pm telling me she needed the internet early in the morning to take care of some of Ron’s business and if I’d come over early to help get it connected. I told her I’d come right over now and get her hooked up, which I did and made my way back home.
I wrote to my journal, posted it to the web and called it a night.
