Sunday 07- I did my stretches.
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 51 to 72 degrees, winds out of the SE at 10 to 15 MPH, humidity around 29 percent, mostly cloudy skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Monday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 66. Breezy, with a west northwest wind between 14 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. West northwest wind between 8 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.”
I was getting a few computer items done when Joan called telling me that she really misses Win98 desktop jungle theme; has bongo playing, birds chirping, big scary black cat growling. I went online and did a search for it and there it was (and runs on WIN7 too) here it is if ya want it: Jungle Pack starts right up on Win7 with no problems at all. So now Joan says she owes me big time. Joan is really a happy camper now.
I went for my evening walk. Kind of an overcast day so I didn’t shoot any pictures.
Kelly called to say she has her boots on and is ready to hit the road on the Harley and for me to picked her up on my way there to Stater Bros. We first stopped at the dollar store so Kelly could get a few knickknacks for her apartment. Next we went to Staters to get coffee, sugar, and cream. We were going to get chicken but decided against it in favor of Chinese again after arguing for a bit. Plus the chicken didn’t look all that good. We both love the Chinese at that particular shop by the Stater Bros market in Twentynine Palms. Donna was our waitress and did a very wonderful job of serving us.
We finally got back home and I put “Avatar” (2010) on the new 17” laptop and hooked up my best external speakers. With all Kelly’s smoke brakes we finally finished watching it at 2am. We are both really tired; how I managed writing this journal is beyond me.
I did my stretches, practice my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night.
