Tuesday 05- I did my stretches, ran a mile, and lifted weights; feeling much better today!
Today’s Weather was: Temps of around 54 to 70 degrees, W winds at 4 to 12 MPH, humidity around 37 percent, mostly clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service: “Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming south between 8 and 11 mph. Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West southwest wind between 6 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
I was watering the plants and cleaning up around the house when I heard booms going off. Seems like there is a lot going on over at the Marine Base with all kinds of explosions and winged craft flying around. They must be getting ready to be doing something somewhere.
I finally got back to my studies: Latin and pre-algebra.
I read aloud from the textbook “Astronomy Today” about color verses temperature of stars.
I went for my evening walk and took a few pictures: I’ll post one here.
I continued reading “The Light of Other Days” by Arthur C. Clarke. It better start getting more interesting soon (I’m over halfway done with it) or I’m going to put the book away, far away!
Started to write my column for the Hi-Desert Star.
I did my stretches, practiced my guitar, wrote to my journal, posted it to the web, and called it a night
